Call to Order at 6:35 pm.

 

1.  Adoption of Agenda:

2.  Approval of Minutes:

M:             THAT the minutes of the June 12, 2024 meeting be approved and circulated.

3.  Financial Report:

Carla K reported that the current account balance is $5840.02 with one outstanding cheque of which Dwayne indicated he will deposit tomorrow.

 

We currently only have 35 members that have paid their yearly membership. Curtis family paid 2x $20 so one fee was allocated to donation with the understanding that both sides of the family are members as far as events go.

​4.  ​KBA Manager Report:

 

Path gates and signage

• Lorne and Blaine attempted to move the West gates but were not able – must wait for Hidden Hills assistance.  Date still to be determined.

 

Water system and restrictions

• No updates – Lorne to meet with Wayne this coming Tuesday

 

Other items

• Still having issues with speeding.  Discussion of the possibility of speed bumps in front of Koots where it seems to be the worst.  Lorne feels that speed bumps will not help and may make things worse.

• Lorne to send out ‘new residents list’

 

5.  Bylaw Compliance Report: 

 

There have been no issues identified.Carla Matt brought up dogs barking all night and that this has been an issue thought she was not able to identify who’s dog though the barking sounded like it was coming from the East of Cedar/Sunset.

 

6.  New Business:

 

a) Upcoming Summer Events

 

Board would like to see 1 to 2 events before the Fall.  Confirm to combine the BBQ/Concert as there is not sufficient time to keep the July date.  Aim to schedule for August 17th.  Carla Koot was in discussion with a couple bands and will follow-up to get their availability.  Blaine also to follow-up with the band he was talking to.  Brodi to confirm with Todd if he is willing to host the band on his property again and if that date works for him.

 

7.  Next meeting dates

 

Next meeting to be held on August 14, 2024 at 6:30pm.
